In the stirring years of India's freedom movement, when the nation was striving for independence, a few visionary leaders in the humble village of Kandivli believed that true freedom begins with education.
In 1936, Sri Jamanadas Adukia, Sri Gokaldas Ranchoddas, and Sri Lavji Meghji, along with other philanthropic community leaders, founded Kandivli Education Society (KES) with a noble mission to provide quality vernacular education and uplift society through knowledge.
Their patriotic dream gained formal recognition in 1947, marking the beginning of a transformative educational journey.
KES started with just 13 students and grew into a renowned institution serving thousands.
Night schools and music education expanded opportunities.
Established B.K. Shroff College, currently educating over 11,000+ students across various disciplines.
