Kandivli Education Society (“KES”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the KES Alumni Portal (“Platform”) for use by its alumni, students, faculty, and other approved users (“Users”). These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, Users agree to comply with these Terms.
The Platform is intended for verified members of the Kandivli Education Society community. Users are required to provide accurate and complete information and to maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials.
The Platform is a digitally enabled environment designed to facilitate alumni engagement, communication, and collaboration. It operates through integrated systems and technology frameworks that support its functionality and user experience.
Users are solely responsible for any content they post, share, or communicate on the Platform. Users agree not to post or transmit any content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or otherwise objectionable or in violation of applicable laws. KES does not actively monitor all content shared on the Platform and does not assume responsibility for any user-generated content or interactions. Any misuse of the Platform, including harassment or unlawful activity, shall be the sole responsibility of the User involved. KES reserves the right to take appropriate action, including removal of content or suspension of access, in response to violations.
The Platform is supported through a combination of institutionally managed processes and externally supported systems or SaaS (Software as a Service) platforms designed to ensure scalability, continuity, and performance. KES reserves the right to modify, replace, or update such systems without affecting the Platform’s purpose and services. The Platform may involve participation of third-party service providers or partners who support its operation, maintenance, and functionality. KES retains overall control and administration of the Platform.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities conducted under their account. Users agree to use the Platform in a lawful and responsible manner.
Users shall not engage in any activity that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, harmful, or disruptive to the Platform or its Users.
Users retain ownership of the content they share on the Platform. By submitting content, Users grant KES a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content within the Platform for community engagement purposes.
The Platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind.
KES shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the Platform, including technical issues, inaccuracies in content, or interactions between Users.
KES reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform in case of violations of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
